e gave me a shop vac for my birthday. I’ve got to admit, I wasn’t impressed. Birthdays are supposed to be for fun stuff! Not cleaning supplies….
My opinion on the matter has since changed. Gifts come may different forms as noted by our operator while out on a job last week. It seems straight forward enough. Four stumps to be ground in the front yard of a lovely property in Surrey.
Clearly well maintained and cared for by the owners, the stumps has been there for years. Not really in anyone’s way – with the exception of the lawn mover – they didn’t do much to deter from the beautiful landscaping.
The client’s wife had a different opinion on the matter – and a birthday coming up. This year, she wanted to get rid of those stumps and her special day turned out to be the perfect opportunity to request such a gift. Sure enough, the husband called us up and granted her wish of a stump free property.
